NMDN — Nomaden is a Jakarta-based electronic music producer and DJ with over a decade of presence in Indonesia's club music landscape. Born from the duo Paper Planes — whose catalog spanned remixes for Tiësto, Major Lazer, and Bring Me The Horizon, and whose profile reached the floor of the Amsterdam Dance Event — NMDN represents the next chapter: a singular identity built on visual intentionality, genre fluidity, and a sound that moves fluidly across house, tech house, R&B, amapiano, UKG, baile funk, and urban — covering everything from club nights and festival sets to private events and brand activations.
The solo project launched in early 2017 with immediate momentum. Within his first year, NMDN released remixes for Galantis and Ana Lunoe, collaborated with Irsan of Midnight Quickie and rising Jakarta export Bleu Clair, and co-produced a track that won the MTV Asia Project Aloft Star 2017 competition in Perth, Australia — a result that placed Indonesian electronic music on an international stage and was covered by MTV Asia as a moment of national pride.
What followed was a sustained period of scene-building rather than broadcast-chasing. Residential tenures at Ms. Jackson (2018–2023), Penn Jakarta (2022–2025), and GIOI (2022–2023) put NMDN inside the rooms where Jakarta's underground electronic culture developed — not as a visitor, but as an anchor. Alongside continued releases and collaborations, this residency period represents the credibility infrastructure that most touring artists never build.
NMDN is now in an active phase — with AMI Award-nominated production credits, a refined brand identity, ongoing releases, and a visual direction rooted in streetwear-literate outdoor warmth that positions the project for both regional growth and global club culture crossover. Available for bookings across Jakarta, domestic touring, and international engagements.
